This 15 inch Egyptian cat weighs about 5 pounds (38 centimeter, 2.26 Kg). It was started with cement and acrylic soaked burlap laid on a semi-shaped wad of poultry netting, thus it is mostly hollow. The medium sculpture kit should be sufficient for a sculpture this size. Mashed semi-shaped paper egg cartons held together with any kind of tape or string would also make a useable core to begin sculpting from. The base is less than 1/2 inch thick and contains some wire reinforcement (1.25 cm).
