Pentathalon Habitat Contest
The Art of Living Well
Towards Sustainable Territories
A comprehensive and holistic approach in the struggle against poverty
The holistic paradigm of "Living Well" requires a solution to habitat that allows a style of responsible, resourceful and productive living to meet human needs and coherently fulfill the purpose of human life by respecting other living entities and all the natural world while achieving transcendence in relation to the divinity of creation according to one's personal worldview and cosmic vision.

Dignify the life of the people of Bolivia through the development of sustainable housing, buildings with a noble purpose in life, promoting technological innovation as both the appreciation of ancient wisdom to solve the basic needs of life in harmony with all other living entities, Nature and the Divine.
The Pentathlon Habitat Contest (PH) has been established to stimulate innovation in the construction of eco-housing production for increased energy efficiency, environmental protection, conscious use of the land, water and the articulation of productivity in the family home, all with an emphasis on knowledge.
The project is part of the vision of Amauta that rescues ancient wisdom from disruption and chaos, it reestablishes the decision of the Government of Bolivia and is compatible with the Life Plan for eradication of extreme poverty (PEEP). PH Amauta joined the project through the joint action of the vertices of the tetrahedron Amauta :
1. Ecological sustainability and selfsufficient Territories. 2. Clean Energy and Infrastructure and Technology of Lithium. 3. Anthropological Institute (re) creation of applied knowledge 4. Development of the Technology of Information and Communications - Tics.

Habitat Pentathlon has a broad vision to engage mental and spiritual factors of Living Well (essential) to give strong philosophical and practical encouragement for a structural solution to the problem of housing. This contest is partly inspired by the Solar Decathlon (http://www.sdeurope.org/ , http://www.solardecathlon.gov/), a very prestigious global competition. An aspect that highlights the Pentathlon Habitat Contest is that it raises for its first phase the selection of prototype designs, eco-homes that provide a family with a basis for a productive system of living well with optimum use of water and sanitation; a housing solution which directly addresses the problem of poverty and environmental degradation.
The challenge is to provide intelligent, economical and convenient solutions. The material needs of any group of homes, communities or municipalities are water, energy and waste management. These basic needs - individually and as a group - are critical to survival and prosperity and need to be implemented and managed properly for support of a vital civilization.
The project consists of three phases:
Phase 1: Co-housing projects, under conditions of respect for nature, innovation and / or optimum technology that can be built on in large quantities at affordable costs relative to both financing and the general population.
Phase 2: The design of techno-parks (theme parks, educational) of bio-ecological habitat and educational shelters (eco-homes built by students at educational institutions)
Phase 3: Territorial integration solutions for communities by establishing sustainable territories. It incorporates the synergy between housing and sanitation solutions, expanding the conversion of waste, food production, education and training, power generation and production facilities, and, in addition, the community will receive advantages of educational and spiritual eco-tourism through the recreational landscape.
